This week on the Texas Oil and Gas Podcast Ryan and I discuss this weeks News in the Oil Patch. From the deal Noble Energy made with Egypt to transport LNG from Israel, to the recent developments with the Pipeline in Houston that is apparently purchasing over half of its Pipeline from Turkey.

This brings up the division of Labor that so often comes up and so we discuss some of the ramifications of companies finding more affordable materials worldwide and capitalizing on it.

Conference concerning Water use in the Permian

There was a great article about a conference that was held last week where professionals from various fields met to discuss the water shortage surrounding the Permian Basin. The Drought started back in 2011 and has affected the area at just about every level. The point of emphasis to discuss this week is that the issue is being studied and a solution should arise in the near future. For scale, Apache used 20 million of recycled water from 2013-2016.

Tune in to the show to hear all of the details!
